Diamond Elementary
Diamond Elementary provides a safe, healthy, supportive and challenging environment to promote the development of all students.  The school seeks out the special strengths in every child, and all students know that they are valued for their unique contributions.  All students are given the chance to become leaders in some way, at some time, in concert with others.

Subjects taught include:
  • Physical Education and recreational sports
  • Dance - mandatory for K-Grade 4 and then optional from Grade 5-12
  • Drama including 2 yearly productions
  • Music
  • Visual Arts



School Hours

Kindergarten 8:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.  Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday

Grades 1-7 8:55 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Monday - Friday

Doors open for all students at 8:15 a.m. and close at 4:00 p.m.


School Supplies 2011-2012

The teachers purchase school supplies for students in Kindergarten to Grade Three.  This includes all notebooks, paper, pencils, binders, erasers, etc.  Parents need only supply dance shoes and a drawstring bag for the gym strip.  The Kindergarten supply fee is $50.00 and the Grade One to Three supply fee is $65.00.  Students in Grades Four to Seven are responsible for purchasing their own classroom supplies.
